“Our College Prep Combine is a new training and recruiting model for players, parents and coaches,” said AVCA Executive Director, Kathy DeBoer. “We create a lasting record, under your control, of where you rank by age and position in relation to your peers, and also let you know how you compare to current college players.  It’s all numbers based, reducing the guesswork and increasing your chances for success.”

Tia Brandel, Head Volleyball Coach, Ferris Sate University says, “The AVCA College Prep Combine is not only a good opportunity for athletes to be seen by college coaches, it is also an opportunity to be tested against top volleyball athletes from around the country.”

“Having a daughter who wants to play college ball, the combine gave us realistic, concrete information to work with in helping decide [what] college’s best suited to her needs and abilities.” Mom of Combine Participant.

We are fortunate to be one of seven sites selected across the United States to host the AVCA College Preparatory Combine. This gives Michigan a  volleyball players a opportunity to be involved in a first rate combine. Individual results are made available to participants, their parents and with their permission to AVCA college coaches.

See AVCA Volleyball Performance Index for more details on the testing and database.
